I can't believe it's been a year since Annabelle first came to see me. I can honestly say it's been a joy each time I've had the opportunity to shoot her. And even though she's graduating from my baby plan (cue Pomp and Circumstance now...) I hope she and her posse will keep coming back to let me sneak some kisses. Here is sweet Annabelle at her newborn session:
And here she is one year later. So happy she brought her big sister along today. They made their mama and me work for it, but we got some awesome shots.
And if there's one thing I've learned from watching my two girls interact, it's this: There is a fine line between a hug and a headlock. I love this shot...

Meet Little Miss Jordan. Isn't she just adorable?!?! She is one of the most beautiful little girls I have ever seen! She brought along along her super-stylish mom and dad for some fun family pictures today. However, Old Man Winter (who I am currently not on speaking terms with) had a completely different agenda. As it turns out, toddlers aren't really down with spending time outdoors in arctic conditions. Even though she was a little ice-cicle, I couldn't help but share some of the images we got in the short time we were together. We are going to meet up again when O.M.W. has packed it up and moved on, but until then, here is a sneak peek of this little angel princess. Thanks mom and dad for braving the frigid temps with me anyway!

I heart this family. So glad ya'll drove out to see me and the weather held out long enough for us to chase around these handsome little fellas and get some cute shots. Enjoy.....
I can't believe how much these boys have grown since I shot them last. Here is big brother Gage before Maddox was even born:
And here is adorable little Maddox at his newborn shoot this summer:

I have a confession to make. Being the mom of an extremely rambunctious 2 year old boy, I was a little apprehensive of how Mr. Cash's shoot was going to go down this morning. Most of the time when I get my little man all dressed up and head out to some super cool location that I have painstakingly scouted out to carry out some beautiful, artistic, creative photo shoot straight from the play book of Annie Leibowitz herself, the shoot starts off big then quickly deteriorates into skinned knees, sticky hands, screams of agony, dirty faces, and a tear-streaked, exhausted face. And I won't even begin to tell you what condition my son is usually in by the end of it all. But in all seriousness, two year old boys are, well, challenging. Well meet Mr. Cashel, Cash for short. He was, on all accounts, an exception to the rule. This session, without a doubt, went down in history as one of my most enjoyable. What a cool kid! And I would go on and on about how cute he is, but I'll just let the images speak for themselves. Thanks C for giving me the honor of spending time with your precious little gent this morning. I truly enjoyed myself! Enjoy your sneak peek and I'll see you when Cash's little sister makes her grand entrance! God bless ya'll.....
I know...he's a heart-breaker, right?!
This post would not be complete if I didn't brag on Cash's mom. For two reasons. 1. Super-woman is about to give birth ANYDAY now. But do you think that stopped her from acting goofy with me, jumping up and down, dancing like a fool, all the while looking calm, cool, collected, and beautiful?! and 2. Did she not knock it out of the park with the wardrobe? She did exactly what I want all of my clients to do...bring a TON of options. An entire suitcase, to be exact, stuffed full of layers, textures, and accessories. I just love it when that happens. And I also love it when this happens...

It just wouldn't be the holiday season without getting to see these adorable kiddos and their equally beautiful parents. Even though the mosquitos ate us for dinner, we spent a beautiful fall evening together right before the sun disappeared beyond the horizon. I'd been wanting to shoot at sunset in this meadow for quite some time, and Chase and Trent were dresssed perfectly for it. I just don't know if it gets any cuter than this.....

If you follow my blog then you will probably recognize her sweet little face. She is also the big sister of the precious peaches n cream complexion newborn Annabelle that was featured on here a few weeks ago. Another awesome family session that I will be sharing family shots from AFTER the holidays. Here's Eve for now....

As promised, here are some more shots from the last session I blogged. Fun with the skateboard...
At the end of the session we all piled into Mom's car and finished it off with some shots at Minute Maid park. Dad loves the Astros so I thought it would be fun to get some images of the boys around the stadium. Here's a resulting shot....
Ok now I feel comfortable moving on to the next sneak peek. Much more to come!

The photography gods smiled down on us on the day of this shoot FO SHO. Perfect light, perfect weather, adorable boys, stylish clothing, I could go on and on. I have been so antsy to share some from this session on my blog. I had a really hard time choosing the ones I did and now I kind of regret not showing more, but on with the show.... Oh but first let me just say this session would not have been as much of a success had it not been for my incredible assistant Megan, whom I'm fairly certain Kellan developed a crush on during this shoot....hence all the happy-happy-joy-joy smiles.
Halfway through our shoot, a group of teenage skateboarders busted up on the scene. That's what the boys are looking at in the first shot below. After a while, we asked one of the skaters if we could borrow his skate board for some shots. The good news is he said yes and they turned out REALLY cute! The bad news is I'm too tired tonight to edit any more shots. But MAYBE, just MAYBE I'll add a couple more tomorrow. See...I told you I regret not sharing more from this session!
