I can't think of another way I would have rather spent this beautiful evening than taking this sweet couple's maternity session. They are dear friends of mine who have had some struggles in the baby-making department over the last few years. But that's because they are such incredible people, God had his own plan of how it was all gonna go down...Isn't that the way it always is with the Big Man upstairs?! And boy did he come through in a big way............TWINS! And just for the record.........I TOTALLY CALLED IT AT THE VALENTINE'S DINNER PARTY WHEN BABYMAMA WASN'T EATING SUSHI OR DRINKING WINE. But that's ok Abeer, I totally forgive you for LYING TO MY FACE and saying you weren't pregnant. I also forgive you for the massive guilt trip I experienced afterwards for opening up my big, multiple two glasses of wine drinking mouth towards the end of the evening and asking you if you were in fact pregnant. Yes those days are behind us aren't they. :) But seriously, these sweet babies are so incredibly blessed because they will have the funniest, most fun, most loving parents two kids could ever ask for. Words cannot express how thrilled I am that everyone's hopes and prayers were answered and you two are going to become parents in just a few short weeks. I cannot wait to meet Sara and Layth and kiss their cheeks and tell them how long we have all waited to meet them. Zak and Abeer, it was an honor to capture such a special time in your lives. Before our session, Babydaddy and I were discussing computers, Macs to be precise, because I am a huge Mac fan and he is convinced he needs one....which he totally does because everyone does but that's beside the point. So when I was setting up this next shot, I told him to whisper something dirty in her ear. What did he say? "Mac computer....." HA! Gotta love a man who's just trying to work an angle!
